Safeguarding and Child Protection
At Doddinghurst Infant School the safety and well-being of our children are our highest priorities. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. Our safeguarding policies and procedures are designed to protect children from harm and promote their welfare, in line with the latest government guidance and best practices. We work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure that all children feel secure, valued, and supported throughout their time with us.
In addition to our RSHE/PSHE curriculum, as part of the schools safeguarding assemblies, we show the children a short video called Stranger Danger, talk to the children about PANTS (NSPCC Underwear rule) and follow this up with discussion time so we can address any misconceptions. We also talk through the children's own safeguarding policy, which can be viewed below.
